“Comfortable and peaceful”
Hotel was comfortable and clean, great for couples seeking for a quiet getaway. Places can be difficult to access during summer as the nature surrounding the hotel is abundant, so be prepared to book cars with the helpful hotel receptionists or explore by driving around!

Great Resort, staff fantastic, special mention to Will & Lachie, easy ski in ski out , requests attended to promptly and added nice touch services of weighing our luggage before leaving for the airport. Great stuff guys, look forward to seeing you next season.

The Vale Rusutsu is an all-season destination, offering a wide array of activities depending on the time of year. Summer Activities:Amusement Park: Rusutsu Resort is home to Hokkaido's largest amusement park, with multiple roller coasters and other attractions. A water park is also open during the summer.

“Cannot recommend The Vale enough”
We came here as a family at the end of a Japan trip. Late September when Tokyo is sweating 30 degrees while Hokkaido has beautiful, pleasant 20–23-degree weather. Cannot recommend The Vale enough. It was very quiet. The resort had almost no people at the time. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very modern. The double-glazed windows and insulation keep the apartment warm while it's cold outside. It is a very well maintained and managed property. Excellent value off season. I'm sure when the Ski season starts, it will be livelier. There's plenty of things to do in the area even in late September. We enjoyed fresh fruits and produce, beautiful views of Mt Yotei, and exploring the many fascinating areas nearby. Highly recommended to visit.

“Thumbs up!”
Huge apartment hotel with well thought out fittings and in-room amenities. High tech aircon too. Everything works. Ask for rooms that face the main carpark. You will get views of the surrounding mountains. Clean and comfortable. Very suited for long stays. There is ample parking. Free access to the main onsen. 1000 yen fee to access the gym for a day. This place is connected to the main for more food and shopping options. The front desk staff speak good English. In all, a wonderful and memorable experience. I highly recommend this place. Thumbs up!

“Best ski in ski out luxury accommodation”
Best ski in ski out luxury accommodation in Rusutsu Hokkaido. Room is spacious, modern and comfortable. Bed is large and firm. Toilet is large and beautifully designed. Kitchen is compact and well equipped. Overall a 6 star holiday.

“Well positioned modern hotel”
We had an enjoyable time at The Vale. The ski in ski out was handy. Our only issue was the temperature of our apartment. Even with the windows open it was too hot. We asked the staff and they explained the hotel is on a central system, which we understood. It was just so hot! Fabulous apartment. Spacious and huge bathrooms. Overall a great experience with helpful friendly concierge. Great to have concierge with lifts to and from local restaurants.
