“Beautiful hotel”
A beautiful hotel, our penthouse was stunning with huge windows and lots of space. Very easy to ski and and ski out from the hotel.

“The Vale Rusutsu is an all-season destination”
Great great great flower and nature smell everywhere in the resort. Love all the flowers they plant, hotel room is very comfortable, everything ✔️✔️✔️, fridge, coffee machine, full kitchen equipment and utensils, dish washer yeah 🤭😂 laundry washing machine and tumble dryer. They provide room slippers for kids, remember to ask at the front desk. Remember to go to activity centre in the resort, they provide a lot of indoor and outdoor activities. We joined their potato harvesting, rafting and fishing. Very good experiences for my kids. Two convenience stores right outside of the resort area. If we come back to this region again, we will definitely stay with Vale Resutsu, love their onsen (hot spring) so much too.

“We will definitely come back here”
We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days with our family of four. The room and the view were just as amazing as in the photos. The deciding factor for us was the in-room washer and dryer, which made it really convenient to wash our kids' clothes and swimsuits without worrying about time. We’ll definitely visit this place again when we visit Rusutsu. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

“This is the only hotel I would recommend!!”
I absolutely loved this hotel! The facilities and service were top-notch! Especially since the receptionist (Hsin Ling) was Taiwanese, she was incredibly helpful to me, a traveler with terrible English! Of course, the enthusiasm of every single staff member at the hotel was undeniable! This is the only hotel I would recommend! It's The Vale!

“Loved every minute of stay”
Most spacious hotel rooms I've ever stayed at in Japan. Coming in during off peak season meant affordable pricing too. Highly recommend the breakfast buffet. Loved every minute of staying here.

“Fantastic stay and a hidden gem”
The Vale Rustusu is a (slightly) hidden gem. The price is right, location is amazing, and the rooms are big! Half of the rooms face towards the Rustusu ski resort and the view (even from the 3rd floor) was spectacular. The hotel staff was unbelievably helpful, and was able to offer a quick rides to nearby restaurants. Specifically, Ellie gave us phenomenal recommendations as well as safely driving us to meet our dinner reservations. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about Japan and the resort. She made our trip so much more special and memorable. Overall, a fantastic stay made better by attentive and conscientious staff.
